About the event
Attending the American Alliance of Museums Annual Meeting? Join Badge of Pride for a short, guided excursion to the Philly Pride Visitor Center, one of the first dedicated LGBTQ+ visitor centers in the country.
Your guide: Mark Segal, Stonewall veteran, founder of the Philadelphia Gay News, and a curator of the center's own historical content. This is queer history, in person, from someone who made it.
The center is located in the heart of Philadelphia's Gayborhood at 12th & Locust, a short rideshare, public transit ride, or 15–20 minute walk from the AAM convention at the Pennsylvania Convention Center.
Open to AAM Annual Meeting attendees. No cost. RSVP requested.
