LGBTQ+ rights were not handed to us. People organized for them, marched for them, argued in court, fought for them, and won them.
Badge Of Pride is proud to return to the Lambda Legal Landmark Dinner in Dallas with a pop-up exhibition tracing LGBTQ+ activism, featuring original artifacts from our collection. Protest buttons. Movement publications. Campaign materials. Signs. Ephemera from campaigns, organizations, demonstrations, and moments of resistance that helped change LGBTQ+ life in America across the decades.
Together, these objects document generations of people confronting discrimination, organizing their communities, challenging power, and pushing the law and culture forward.
That history matters especially now, as many of the rights won through decades of activism are once again under attack. We’re honored to bring these artifacts back to the Landmark Dinner and to share them with a community still fighting the fight.
