Every generation has its own coming-out story—and its own vision for what comes next. In "Queer Generations," DSQO and Badge Of Pride gather queer voices from their 20s to their 60s to explore what unites us, what divides us, and what calls us forward.

About the event

Join DSQO and Badge Of Pride for an intergenerational conversation exploring the many faces and phases of queer life in North Texas. This live panel brings together LGBTQ+ voices from their 20s to their 60s—each with a unique perspective shaped by their identity, era, and experience.

Together, we’ll examine how the meaning of identity, pride, protest, and community has shifted—and stayed the same—across decades. From surviving silence to shaping the future, this conversation is about connection, reflection, and reclaiming queer history on our own terms.

This FREE event is moderated by Adrian Cardwell, Executive Director of Badge Of Pride and curator of the groundbreaking exhibition Badge Of Pride: From Silence…To Celebration!

After the panel, stay to explore the exhibit—the largest LGBTQ+ history exhibition ever presented in Texas. Spanning generations of queer activism, culture, and resistance, this bilingual, artifact-centered journey is a testament to the power of queer memory and the fight to be seen, heard, and celebrated.
