QUEER MEMORY IS CULTURAL POWER
Badge Of Pride is a Dallas-based, queer-led nonprofit that stewards a nationally significant collection of more than 10,000 LGBTQ+ artifacts. We put that material to work through exhibitions, performances, oral histories, and community archiving.
Our collection anchored the largest artifact-centered LGBTQ+ history exhibition ever presented in Texas, honored in 2026 by the American Alliance of Museums (AAM), National Council on Public History (NCPH), American Association of State and Local History (AASLH), and the Texas Association of Museums.

Pride is the collective expression of confidence, self-respect, and shared identity by communities that have faced social, institutional, and legal marginalization. It signals dignity in public, visibility without apology, and solidarity shaped through generations of resistance and possibility.
