When the Gay Liberation Front Manifesto was published in London in 1971—less than two years after the Stonewall Uprising—it marked a profound shift in how LGBTQ+ people understood themselves, their politics, and their power. The document challenged sexism, homophobia, and the broader systems that shaped daily life. It demanded structural change and called for personal and collective transformation. More than fifty years later, its clarity remains striking.


A Manifesto For Us All takes this landmark text as its foundation. The performance brings forward selections from the Manifesto alongside other statements of Queer vision and political intent—writings that speak to belonging, self-determination, accountability, and the world LGBTQ+ people have long been working to build.
