About the event
Come wrap up Pride Month with The Dallas Way and Badge Of Pride as we visit the pop-up exhibit, "Badge Of Pride: From Silence...To Celebration!" at Irving Archives & Museum and take a journey through over a century of LGBTQ+ history!
We will have a discussion with Bade Of Pride's Director and exhibit curator, Adrian Cardwell. You'll get the inside scoop on the origin story of an archive three decades in the making, with help from LGBTQ+ activists all over the world. He will provide insights into the themes of the exhibit, and additional details about some of the rare artifacts from our community's history on display. You'll also get insight into the future plans for Badge of Pride, and the full exhibition coming to Irving Archives and Museum next summer!
